Explore my recommended links

This section features a curated collection of websites that I find resourceful in both my private and professional capacity. These links have been carefully selected for their valuable insights, expert guidance, and practical tools. However, as my interests evolve, so may this list—meaning the featured websites can change over time.

Please note that while I recommend these resources, I cannot be held responsible for the content, updates, or changes on external websites. I encourage you to explore them at your own discretion and make the most of the knowledge they offer!

Mind Moves Podcasts (mostly Afrikaans!) are relevant for parents of children from infancy to adolescence. The content focuses on neurodevelopment, learning, and movement-based strategies that support cognitive, motor, and behavioural development. Parents of young children (0–6 years) will find valuable insights on early milestones and school readiness, while those with older children (7–18 years) can learn about the transition from grade 3 to grade 4, learning challenges, concentration, and brain-based strategies for academic success.

Good inside is a parenting platform founded by Dr. Becky Kennedy, a clinical psychologist and mother of three. The platform offers resources and guidance to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children, emphasizing a compassionate and understanding approach to parenting.

As both a mother and a psychologist, I deeply appreciate Dr. Becky's compassionate and practical approach to parenting. Her insights align with what I see in both my professional work and personal life—helping parents navigate challenges with empathy, connection, and clear strategies. The Good Inside platform provides valuable tools that empower parents (and teachers)  to support their children while also fostering their own confidence in the process. I highly recommend exploring her work for thoughtful, research-based guidance on raising resilient and emotionally healthy children.
